Every numbered heading below is a statement about Yarn Couture that can be checked against the released app itself. The note under each one gives the basis for it, so nothing here has to be taken on trust.

1. Yarn Couture opens and plays without a sign-in.

There is no registration screen, username, email field or social login. The first pattern starts straight from the home screen, and no player profile is created on any server.

2. Puzzle progress is written only to the phone or tablet running the game.

The local save holds the highest pattern you have unlocked, the spool and thread layout of an unfinished board, stars earned, boosters left, and your sound, music and vibration toggles. It exists so a half-stitched design is waiting when you come back. It is not copied to a cloud save.

3. No advertising network is built into this edition.

No banner, interstitial or rewarded video appears, and the game never reads the IDFA or the Android Advertising ID.

4. No analytics or crash-reporting SDK is bundled.

Taps, session length and level results are not uploaded anywhere. The one exception sits outside the game: if you have switched on “share with app developers” in your phone’s diagnostics settings, Apple or Google may pass us an anonymous crash log listing the device model, OS version and the code location of the fault. It contains no name, address or contact detail, and we read it only to fix that fault.

5. Nothing is for sale inside the game.

There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or coin bundles, and no screen asks for card details. If a later build ever adds a purchase, payment would run through the App Store or Google Play rather than through us, and this list would be revised before that build is published.

6. Sensitive permissions are never requested.

Yarn Couture does not ask for your location, contacts, calendar, photo library, camera, microphone, Bluetooth devices or health records. Haptic feedback, where your device supports it, relies on the standard vibration setting and records nothing.

7. Screen and language readings are used on the spot and then discarded.

To draw each board at the right size, the game checks screen dimensions, pixel density, system language and operating-system version while it runs. Those values shape the layout and the text you see; they are neither kept in the save nor sent off the device.

8. This website carries no trackers.

yarncouture.party is a set of static pages with no cookies, analytics scripts, sign-up forms or embedded third-party video. Like any web host, the provider that serves it sees your IP address, browser type and the time of each request, uses them to deliver the page and turn away abusive traffic, and keeps those logs under its own schedule.

9. A message you send us is used to answer you and for nothing else.

When you write in, we see the address you wrote from plus whatever you chose to include, such as a description of the problem, a screenshot or your phone model. We use it to reply and to repair what went wrong. You are not added to any mailing list, and the material is not passed to anyone else.

10. Every kind of record has an end date.

• Local save: until you reset it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall.
• Platform crash logs: no longer than 90 days after we receive them.
• Support conversations: erased within 12 months of the last reply.
• Website request logs: held only by the hosting provider, for the period its own policy sets.

11. Children can play without giving anything up.

Because there is no account, chat, advertising or shop, the game gathers no personal information from players under 13, or under the higher age that applies where they live. If a parent thinks a child has emailed us something personal, tell us and we will delete it.

12. You can wipe your own progress at any time.

Use the reset option in the game’s settings, clear the app’s storage, or delete the app. There is no server copy, so a reset cannot be reversed. For anything you have sent us, you can ask to see it, correct it or have it removed; depending on your country you may also object to its use or complain to your local data-protection authority.

13. Protection matches how little there is to protect.

Saved progress sits inside the private storage area the operating system gives each app. This site is served only over HTTPS. Support mail is open only to the people answering it. No setup is beyond every possible failure, and we do not claim otherwise.

14. Changes are dated and published here first.

The date at the top moves with every revision. If a future version introduces anything that sends material off the device, such as ads, analytics, purchases or a cloud save, this page will describe it before that version reaches the stores.

15. A route to the developer is always available.

A dedicated support address will be added to this site before release. Until then, questions about this policy can go through the developer contact shown on Yarn Couture’s App Store or Google Play listing.
